Snake

Classic snake, where every coin is a dollar of debt. Eat coins and watch your real total debt count down on screen, purely as a bit of fun: nothing about your money changes.

• Play: arrow keys or WASD to steer, Space or P to pause. On touch screens, swipe on the board or use the pad. Walls and your own tail end the game. Every seventh coin is a gold $5 coin that blinks before it turns back into a plain one.
• Debt, snake math: your total debt from Budvo minus the coins you've eaten this game. In privacy mode it only shows the coins.
• High score: kept in storage with the day you set it.
• Pledge your score (optional): after a game you can pledge your score in cents (a score of 37 is 37 cents) to your jar, once per game. Budvo asks first in its own dialog (on older servers, or with that turned off, the game asks instead), and "Not now" is fine. It's capped by what's left of today's limit (from Budvo's context), at most $5 a day or less if you lower it.

Nothing here moves money. A pledge only adds to the jar, and a smash never takes checking below your safety net.

Run it locally with npx budvo-addon dev . from this folder.
